GANDEL

This is my personal game, Gandel. It is a platformer game with fighting mechanics. This was made using Unity. This game is a 2D Platformer with combat mechanics. There are three attacks the player can do. A light attack, a heavy attack and a special attack. There are 8 levels. The last level is a boss fight with two attack patterns, an ordinary punch and a lunge attack.

Player Jumping Script

This script determines the specific condition in which the player is able to jump. After jumping once or running off an edge, there is a short moment which lets the player jump again. This is a design choice that I believe will come natural to the player to increase their enjoyment of the game. It is a design that was inspired by Celeste where the player is able to jump for a short period of time after running off a cliff.
